Water & Garden Showcase Tour!

What is a Water & Garden Showcase tour?

The Water Feature showcase tour is a great way to see how AWESOME water can be! THERE’S tons of different ways to create fun environments with water: koi ponds; waterfalls; stream beds; pond-less water features; Fountainscapes; and water gardens to name a few. Every water feature has a different story and Modern Design Aquascaping, Inc. gives you the opportunity to learn more while viewing wonderful examples of what can be accomplished.

This is a self guided tour.

You can go enjoy as long as you want in the order you want, and leave whenever you want.

Please stop by Modern Design Aquascaping, Inc. for our Meet-n-Greet after the others around 7:30pm.

We will be providing food & beverages.

$10 per person to RSVP and 100% of proceeds will be donated to The Sawyer Mason Foundation to support our Heroes.

Details About the Pond Tour

Stop 1

Jerry & Jan

Truly a one of a kind work of art built with massive boulders that span from the bottom of this 4′ deep pond all the way out of the water. From multiple boulder fish caves and underwater rock formations to large scale wetland filtration, to keep the water crystal clear and a zero edge skimming system to keep the top of the water completely free of debris, this pond has everything. This 20,000 gallon pond is located in a small backyard in Farragut, TN and sets the stage for a great time overlooking the pond, the lake, and our beautiful smoky mountains.

Stop 1. Large Koi Pond

Stop 2

A 25’ pondless waterfall and patio built from boulders up to 1500 pounds. Having a steep incline to build on provides tall dramatic waterfalls geared to please every viewing area in this beautiful backyard, and a great look from the second story porch.

Stop 2. Pondless Waterfall and Stream

Carl & Angela

Stop 3

James & Shannon

This is a 12×20 pond with a 15’ stream overlooking the lake and smoky mountains. Built on a slope going away from the house, this pond required over 20 tons of mountain stone just to create the flat for the pond. This pond has all the bells and whistles from jets and in pond pump housing, to interaction stones and stepping stones bridging the stream.

Stop 5. Koi Pond

Stop 4

This is a 15’ long pondless waterfall tucked into a beautifully secluded backyard in Knoxville, TN. With boulders up to 1,500 ponds and a steep slope falling towards the patio this provided the perfect canvas for some tall and dramatic cascades.
