Complete Pond Cleanout Description and Prices       PG 3 of 4

While the pond continues filling, we will check liner edges for leaky spots. If any areas have washed out, we will supplement soil to reverse erosion problems. We will have additional gravel on hand as well, if we need it to disguise any visible liner areas. All materials will be charged at bulk pricing to help keep your cost down (i.e. 500 pounds of gravel is $20-, ½ yard of soil would be $20-)! WE WILL NOT HAVE MULCH ON HAND, so if you want the area mulched, you will need to let us know so we can schedule a follow-up visit for that service (we just can’t get it in the truck)!

Once all this has been done, we will sterilize all pond supplies, as we do after each cleaning, in order to maintain a “disease free” operation! We will add a water conditioner / de-chlorinator, which we bill you for based on pond size, as well as your first dose of beneficial bacteria (assuming the water temperature is favorable). We then load up, clean up, and head out.

It will be your responsibility to turn the fish loose and turn the water off once the feature is full, unless we make prior arrangements. This keeps you from paying us to wait for the remainder of the time necessary for the fill-up. If prior arrangements were made, someone will be sent back to release the fish and turn the water off at the appropriate time!

Please note, we take the utmost care in handling your animals to keep them happy and healthy, and we fully expect a flawless operation!  We have rarely had problems in the past, but the possibility does exist and we cannot be responsible for illness or death of fish, and will not replace losses (a signed waiver form to this effect is required before we can start the clean-out CLICK HERE for a printable version).
